Connect Cursor to Robylon

Add the Robylon MCP server to Cursor through mcp.json, sign in with your Robylon account, and ask Cursor's agent about your support analytics and conversations.

To connect Cursor to Robylon, add the server URL to Cursor’s mcp.json file, restart Cursor, and sign in with your Robylon account when Cursor asks.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "robylon": {
      "url": "https://api.robylon.ai/mcp/"
    }
  }
}

You need an Admin or Super-admin role in each Robylon workspace you connect. See Setup for the full requirements.

How do I connect Cursor?

Add the server

Add the snippet above to ~/.cursor/mcp.json to use Robylon in every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in a project to use it there only. If the file already lists other servers, add robylon alongside them inside mcpServers.

Restart Cursor

Restart Cursor so it reads the new file.

Turn it on and sign in

Open Customize → MCPs in the sidebar and make sure robylon is on. Follow Cursor’s prompt to sign in: Robylon’s sign-in page opens, where you sign in, tick the workspaces to include and click Connect.

How do I use Robylon in Cursor?

Ask Cursor’s agent a question in chat, for example “Which intents drove the most escalations last month?” The Robylon tools appear in the tools list at the top of the chat panel, where you can switch them on or off.

What if the Cursor connection does not work?

  • If robylon is missing from the MCP list, check the JSON is valid and restart Cursor again. When the same server name is in both files, the project file wins.
  • If a workspace is missing from answers, sign in again and tick it. See Which workspaces does a connection include?
  • If Robylon refuses the connection, the page it shows explains why. See Why can’t I connect?
