Connect Codex to Robylon
Add the Robylon MCP server to OpenAI Codex with two commands, sign in with your Robylon account, and ask Codex about your support analytics and conversations.
To connect Codex to Robylon, add the server and then sign in with the two commands below. Codex opens Robylon’s sign-in page in your browser.
codex mcp add robylon --url https://api.robylon.ai/mcp/
codex mcp login robylon
You need an Admin or Super-admin role in each Robylon workspace you connect. See Setup for the full requirements.
How do I connect Codex?
Add the server
Run codex mcp add robylon --url https://api.robylon.ai/mcp/ in your terminal.
Sign in to Robylon
Run codex mcp login robylon. Your browser opens Robylon’s sign-in page: sign in, tick the workspaces to include and click Connect.
Check the connection
Run codex mcp list, or type /mcp inside Codex, and confirm robylon is listed.
The Codex CLI and the Codex IDE extension share the same configuration, so adding Robylon once makes it available in both.
Can I add Robylon to the Codex config file instead?
Yes. Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run codex mcp login robylon to sign in:
[mcp_servers.robylon]
url = "https://api.robylon.ai/mcp/"
A project’s own .codex/config.toml works too, for projects you have marked as trusted.
What if the Codex connection does not work?
- If sign-in does not start, run
codex mcp login robylonon its own. Adding the server does not sign you in. - If a workspace is missing from answers, sign in again and tick it. See Which workspaces does a connection include?
- If Robylon refuses the connection, the page it shows explains why. See Why can’t I connect?
