What do people ask about Robylon pricing?
What is the difference between workspace plans and live agent seats?
Workspace plans pay for the AI agent: its monthly credits, the AI models it can use and the channels it can answer on. Live agent seats are an optional licence for each person on your human support team, in three tiers from $19 to $89 per seat per month. You can mix seat tiers on the same workspace.
How do credits work?
Each message the AI agent processes uses credits: a base processing cost plus a model cost that depends on which AI model answers. The plan figures assume about 7.5 credits per chat, WhatsApp or email conversation, so 300 credits is roughly 40 conversations. Voice calls use credits at a different rate. Every plan can buy extra credits at $25 per 1,000.
Which workspace plan is right for me?
- Starter: free, with 300 credits a month and chat only. Enough for a proof of concept.
- Pro: from $25 a month for 500 to 3,500 credits. Adds WhatsApp, email and ticketing, and all AI models.
- Business: from $180 a month for 4,500 to 10,000 credits. Adds voice phone calls, the Freshdesk, Zendesk and Zoho Desk integrations, custom API integrations and AI insights.
- Enterprise: quoted. Adds bring-your-own LLM, WhatsApp voice calls, SSO, audit logs, priority support with SLAs and a dedicated account manager.
What is the difference between the three live agent seat tiers?
- Basic ($19 per seat per month) covers chat, email and ticket management, the shared inbox, canned responses, internal notes and transfers.
- Advanced ($49) adds voice phone calls, bulk and quick actions, all pre-built reports, and AI Copilot suggestions and summaries at 50 uses a month each, with unlimited Copilot available as an add-on.
- Expert ($89) adds WhatsApp voice calls, unlimited AI Copilot, and full reporting with a real-time dashboard.
Can I start on Starter and upgrade later without losing data?
Yes. Upgrading is instant, and your AI agents, knowledge sources, conversation history and configuration all carry over. The new credit allowance applies as soon as you upgrade.
What happens when I run out of credits?
AI agent replies pause until you add credits; the live agent inbox keeps working. You are notified when your balance reaches 50%, 20% and zero. To add more, move to a higher credit tier or buy 1,000 credits for $25.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes, 10% off every paid plan and 10% off add-ons. For example, Pro with 500 credits is $22 a month billed yearly, against $25 billed monthly.
Do I need live agent seats, or can I use Robylon with AI agents only?
AI agents only is fine, and many customers start that way. On Business and Enterprise the agent hands what it cannot resolve to Freshdesk, Zendesk or Zoho Desk. Seats are for teams that want to answer escalations inside Robylon's own inbox, with AI Copilot and the full customer context alongside.
Which add-ons are available, and do I need any to start?
None are required; every plan works on its own. The add-ons are:
- Extra credits: $25 per 1,000
- Custom domain: $49 a month
- Removing the Robylon badge: $29 a month
- Live agent seats: from $19 per seat per month

How does Robylon pricing compare with Intercom and Zendesk?
On list prices, a Robylon AI chat, WhatsApp or email conversation costs $0.20 to $0.38: $270 a month for 10,000 credits billed yearly at the low end, $75 for 1,500 billed monthly at the high end. Per widely cited third-party teardowns:
- Intercom charges $0.99 for each resolution by its Fin agent.
- Zendesk charges around $1.50 per committed resolution and $2.00 pay-as-you-go.
