9 best Verloop alternatives for AI customer support in 2026
Nine alternatives to Verloop.io, compared on what each AI agent can do, which channels it covers (email included), where it runs and how you buy it, with prices checked in October 2026.
Key takeaways
- Need email as well as chat, WhatsApp and voice, at prices you can read today: Robylon, free to start with 300 credits a month and paid plans from $25 a month.
- Want another India-rooted platform with a free way in: Yellow.ai, free for 500 chat sessions a month, then $0.99 per resolution.
- Consumer brand running high-volume WhatsApp support: Haptik, part of Jio Platforms and quote only, or Gupshup, at $0.001 a message plus Meta fees on its self-serve WhatsApp API.
- Regulated enterprise or a contact center on NiCE CXone or Genesys: Kore.ai, which bills AI agents per 15-minute session, or Cognigy, owned by NICE since 8 September 2025.
- Want a helpdesk and its AI agent on published prices: Freshdesk Omni from $29 a seat a month billed annually plus $49 per 100 AI sessions, or Fin at $0.99 per outcome.
- Phone calls in Indian languages and Arabic dialects are most of your volume: stay on Verloop.io, which names 10+ Indian languages for voice and has been a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider since January 2022.
The strongest Verloop alternatives in October 2026 are Robylon for an AI agent that takes action across email, chat, voice and WhatsApp with published prices and a free plan; Yellow.ai and Haptik for enterprises that want another India-rooted conversational AI platform; and Gupshup for brands whose support runs mostly through WhatsApp messaging. Kore.ai and Cognigy suit large contact centers that want AI agents built around their telephony. Ada, Fin and Freshdesk suit teams that want the AI agent on or beside a helpdesk.
Verloop.io is a capable voice and chat AI platform: its voice agents handle inbound and outbound calls in 10+ Indian languages and several Arabic dialects, it is an official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, and its agents call external systems during a conversation. Teams evaluating it look elsewhere when they need email handled by the same agent, a price they can read before a sales call, or an agent that works inside the helpdesk their human team already uses. Every tool below is judged on three things: whether the agent takes the action a ticket needs, whether every channel runs from one setup, and whether it fits the stack you already run.

Prices checked October 2026 on each vendor's pricing page. G2 ratings read October 2026, with the review count in brackets.
Robylon publishes this page and ranks itself first; every tool on the list, Robylon included, gets the same “Where it falls short” line.
What Verloop does
Verloop.io is a conversational AI platform for enterprise and mid-market support teams in India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the US, founded in 2017. Its chat and voice AI agents answer from FAQs and uploaded documents and call external systems through API blocks; Verloop.io names order tracking, OTP verification, KYC checks, loan eligibility checks, account unlocks, transaction disputes and payment collection. Voice agents take inbound calls and run outbound campaigns in 10+ Indian languages and Arabic dialects, on Verloop.io’s own telephony, Twilio, Exotel, Knowlarity or your SIP trunk. Chat covers the website, mobile apps, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram, worked in its Live Chat console. Verloop.io publishes no prices and says it serves 500+ customers.
Why teams look beyond Verloop
No published price
The Verloop.io pricing page returns “Page not found” as of 8 October 2026, and the site offers only a demo or a free proof of concept. No plan, seat or usage price is published. A team cannot estimate its support bill before a sales process.
No email channel
Verloop.io’s channels page lists website chat, mobile app chat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and voice. Email is not offered as a customer channel on any Verloop.io page read on 8 October 2026. A team whose customers write in by email runs a second tool for that queue.
Voice handover leaves the platform
The voice AI walkthrough in Verloop.io’s help centre says human agents do not work voice calls inside Verloop.io. The voice agent transfers the caller to the team’s own agents over the phone line, by SIP REFER or a DID into the existing call queue. Chat handovers land in the Live Chat console, so voice and chat end up in different places.
No AI inside another helpdesk
Verloop.io lists Freshdesk, Zendesk, HubSpot, LeadSquared, Oracle and SAP C4C as CRM and ticketing integrations, and its live chat plugins pull CRM data into the agent pane. Running the AI agent inside another helpdesk’s inbox is not documented, so a team that works in Freshdesk or Zendesk keeps two consoles open.
Compliance claims that disagree
Verloop.io’s security page states GDPR compliance, PII protection and data residency. Other Verloop.io pages claim ISO 27001, ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 42001 and CIS certification, but none of these appears on the security page, and no SOC 2, HIPAA or PCI DSS claim was found. A security review has to ask for the certificates.
A change of owner
As of 8 October 2026, the Nurix AI homepage says Nurix AI has acquired Verloop.io. Verloop.io’s own help centre and developer docs do not mention the deal yet, and neither company has published what it means for pricing, roadmap or support contracts.
Three kinds of Verloop alternatives
Three kinds of product get called Verloop alternatives, and they solve different problems.
- India-rooted conversational AI platforms: AI agents for high-volume WhatsApp, web and voice in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Yellow.ai, Haptik and Gupshup belong here. All three take actions in other systems; Yellow.ai adds email and a free plan, Haptik sells its own agent inbox, and Gupshup is a messaging platform first, with AI agents sold on top. The Yellow.ai alternatives guide covers this group from Yellow.ai’s side, and the LimeChat alternatives guide covers WhatsApp tools for D2C brands.
- Enterprise contact center platforms: AI agents for large contact centers, with their own voice gateways and fixed flows beside generative ones. Kore.ai and Cognigy belong here. Both take actions in other systems; Kore.ai also sells its own contact center, and Cognigy sits in front of NiCE CXone, Genesys Cloud and others.
- AI agent platforms on or beside a helpdesk: an agent that resolves across channels, inside the team’s helpdesk or handing conversations to it. Robylon, Ada, Fin and Freshdesk with Freddy AI Agent belong here. All four take actions in other systems; Robylon and Fin run inside existing helpdesks, Ada hands conversations to one, and Freddy AI Agent runs inside Freshdesk only.
If voice in Indian languages is the core job, the first two kinds are the closest swap. If you need email, published prices or the agent inside your current helpdesk, the third kind fits.
How we compared the tools
We read each vendor’s pricing page, help centre or docs, product pages and security page, and each tool’s G2 page, on 7 and 8 October 2026. Where a vendor publishes no price, the table says so. We did not run hands-on tests for this page.
We compared them on what the AI agent can resolve, channels covered, where each runs, billing model, setup effort, and how each works for support agents and team leads.
The 9 best Verloop alternatives
1. Robylon
Best for: support teams that want an AI agent to resolve tickets end to end, taking actions in other systems, on email, chat, voice and WhatsApp from one setup, with published prices.
What it is for: Robylon is an AI customer support platform that resolves tickets across email, chat, voice and WhatsApp. It works standalone or alongside an existing helpdesk. It takes the action a ticket needs: agents read the systems the answer lives in, including orders, accounts and bookings, act through tools built from your APIs and connected apps, and hand anything they cannot finish to a person with the checking already done. Every channel runs from one setup, sharing the same agents, knowledge base and analytics. And it fits the stack you already run, inside the helpdesk your team uses or standalone with its own inbox. A lending customer recovered about 25% more collections with Robylon’s voice agents.
What the AI does:
- A triage agent routes each conversation to the sub-agent for that topic, so refunds, order status, KYC questions and account changes each follow their own instructions.
- Agents call tools built from your APIs and from 32 pre-built integrations, among them Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce and Google Sheets, to look up an order, issue a refund or update an account. Custom API integrations are on the Business plan.
- The knowledge base answers from your sources, and the KB gap report shows the questions it could not answer (Pro plan and above).
- Anything the agent cannot finish goes to a person with the conversation, intent and checks attached, in Robylon’s inbox or in the helpdesk you keep.
- Evaluations and bulk knowledge base testing score answers before and after a change, and version history restores an earlier version of an agent.
- Voice agents choose a speech-to-text provider per language, including Sarvam for 11 Indian languages, and run on Twilio or Exotel numbers.
Channels: email, website and in-app chat, voice, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, SMS through Twilio, YouTube comments, and reviews on Google Play, the App Store and Google My Business, all listed on the channels page. Robylon runs standalone with its own inbox and optional human seats, or inside Freshdesk, Zendesk, Zoho Desk, Salesforce, Vtiger and Gorgias tickets and inside Intercom, Freshchat, SalesIQ and Zendesk messaging chat; inside Gorgias it covers email and chat. WhatsApp and email start on the Pro plan; voice phone calls and the Freshdesk, Zendesk, Zoho Desk, Intercom, Freshchat and Gorgias integrations start on Business. Replies go out in over 40 languages, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Arabic among them.
Pricing: by AI credits (see pricing). The Starter plan is free with 300 credits a month (about 40 conversations), paid plans start at $25 a month for 500 credits, Business starts at $180 a month, and yearly billing takes 10% off. Seats for a human team are optional, at $19 to $89 per seat a month. G2 rating: 5.0 from 42 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: voice phone calls start on the Business plan at $180 a month, and Robylon publishes no per-minute voice price, because calls use credits at a rate the pricing page does not list. Credits per conversation vary with the AI model chosen, so the monthly bill is harder to forecast than a fixed contract. Plan changes go through an account manager, because self-serve billing is not live yet.
Where Verloop.io does better:
- Indian-language and Arabic voice: Verloop.io names Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati for voice, plus Khaleeji, Emirati, Egyptian and Modern Standard Arabic, and speech recognition in 80+ languages. Robylon’s docs name no Arabic dialects.
- Telephony options: Verloop.io runs calls on its own telephony, Twilio, Exotel, Knowlarity or your own carrier through a SIP trunk. Robylon runs calls on Twilio or Exotel numbers, or on your own carrier through SIP trunking.
- Outbound voice campaigns: Verloop.io uploads call lists by Excel as well as triggering them by API, with retries and working-window DND controls (Outreach docs).
- WhatsApp Business Solution Provider: an official BSP since January 2022.
- Payments in conversation: Razorpay, CCAvenue and Xendit inside the chat or call.
Pick it if: you want one AI agent that takes actions across email, chat, voice and WhatsApp, with prices you can read today and a free plan to start, inside the helpdesk you keep or standalone. Choose Verloop.io if most of your volume is phone calls in Indian languages or Arabic dialects, or outbound voice campaigns, and email does not matter to your customers. For the head-to-head, see Robylon vs Verloop.
2. Yellow.ai: best for channel breadth
Best for: enterprise customer service and employee service teams automating chat, voice and email across many channels and languages.
Yellow.ai, formerly Yellow Messenger, builds agents in Nexus, which writes, tests and fixes them from plain-language instructions (platform-wide since 28 February 2026). Nexus Vox, its voice AI, launched on 11 May 2026, and the platform runs on 15+ LLMs. Yellow.ai’s own Inbox helpdesk handles 35+ channels with email tickets and a mobile app, and chats can instead go to live agents in another helpdesk or contact center, Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshchat and Genesys among them. Data is hosted in the US, the EU, Singapore, India, Indonesia or the UAE, and Yellow.ai holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA and GDPR, with PCI DSS v4.0.1 for its North America region only.
What the AI does: answers from a knowledge base and takes actions through workflows built in a visual editor, prebuilt integrations and MCP connectors (HubSpot and Postgres among them) that AI agents call mid-conversation. MCP connectors work with AI agents, not rule-based agents.
Channels: website chat, email, voice over PRI or SIP, WhatsApp (including voice calling), SMS, RCS, Facebook Messenger and comments, Instagram, Apple Messages for Business, LINE, Telegram, Viber, Zalo, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat, Webex, Workplace from Meta, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube comments, Google Location reviews, Shopee, Lazada and Tokopedia; Zendesk Sunshine Conversations, Twilio SMS, Infobip and Gupshup through partners.
Pricing: the Free plan includes 1 AI agent, 2 agent seats and 500 chat sessions a month, then bills $0.99 per resolution; Enterprise, with all channels and unlimited AI agents, is quote only (Yellow.ai pricing). G2: 4.4 from 107 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: the Enterprise price is not published, and the docs do not define what counts as a “resolution” on the Free plan’s overage as of October 2026, so a bill above 500 sessions is hard to predict. Rule-based agents cannot switch language mid-conversation.
Pick it if: you want an India-rooted enterprise platform like Verloop.io that also covers email, dozens of social and marketplace channels, and a free plan to start.
3. Haptik: best for WhatsApp at scale
Best for: large consumer brands in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia running high-volume service, sales and commerce on WhatsApp, web and voice.
Haptik is part of Reliance’s Jio Platforms, which took a majority shareholding after a partnership announced on 3 April 2019, and says it serves 500+ enterprises. Its Contakt suite launched on 6 December 2023, and AI Agents with the AI Agent Builder followed on 11 April 2025; builders choose GPT, Llama or Claude. Haptik sells its own agent inbox, Smart Agent Chat, or hands off to Zendesk Chat, Salesforce Service Cloud, Freshchat, Zoho SalesIQ, NICE CXone, Gorgias or Genesys.
What the AI does: answers from enterprise documents and websites and acts through APIs, databases and backend services: order tracking, returns and refunds, bookings, appointment scheduling, KYC and onboarding, loan services and payments. Voice AI Agents create tickets, log CRM leads and route calls to live agents with a summary.
Channels: website and app chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, voice, SMS, RCS, Google Business Messages, LINE, Telegram and Microsoft Teams, in more than 100 languages; WhatsApp also through Gupshup, Netcore, Infobip, Helo or Interakt.
Pricing: quote only; haptik.ai/pricing redirects to the homepage, and every product leads to a demo request. G2: 4.5 from 171 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: Haptik’s pages list no email support channel as of October 2026, the same gap as Verloop.io. Many docs articles date from 2022 and 2023, so plan contents are hard to confirm without sales.
Pick it if: you run consumer support at very high WhatsApp volume in India or the Gulf and want a large, Jio-backed vendor with its own agent inbox.
4. Kore.ai: best for regulated enterprises
Best for: large enterprises in banking, wealth management, insurance, healthcare, retail, telco, and travel and hospitality that want AI agents, a contact center and quality scoring from one vendor.
Kore.ai’s AI for Service line now runs on the Kore.ai Agent Platform, whose Artemis edition launched on 21 May 2026; agents mix LLM reasoning with deterministic flows, and policies are enforced outside the model. Kore.ai also sells its own contact center, Contact Center AI, with agent desktops, routing, workforce management and outbound voice and SMS campaigns. Its launch release lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, FedRAMP Moderate, HITRUST and GDPR, and SaaS hosting covers 13 regions, India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia among them.
What the AI does: answers and takes actions in customer systems, updating accounts, scheduling appointments and setting up autopay, through prebuilt integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Shopify, Stripe and Jira, plus HTTP, code and MCP tools.
Channels: voice through Kore.ai’s Voice Gateway or your SIP telephony, web and mobile chat, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, LINE, Telegram, Slack and Microsoft Teams; SMS through Twilio.
Pricing: AI agents are billed per 15-minute session of conversation and contact center seats per agent; no rates are published (Kore.ai billing docs). G2: 4.6 from 505 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: no published rates, and the new platform’s free tier is open only to approved email domains. Email appears in the channel list without a public setup guide.
Pick it if: you want AI agents and the contact center behind them from one vendor, with FedRAMP Moderate, HITRUST and hosting in India or the Gulf.
5. Gupshup: best for messaging-led CX
Best for: consumer brands and enterprises in India, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa running marketing, commerce and support on WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, Instagram and voice.
Gupshup is a messaging platform first, stating 50,000+ customers, with AI agents, a live agent inbox (Agent Assist) and campaign tools sold on top. Its AI Agent Library of 15 pre-built agents launched on 13 February 2025. WhatsApp extensions let human agents answer WhatsApp chats inside Zoho Desk and Freshdesk.
What the AI does: AI agents act in external platforms through Tools; Gupshup’s examples are ticket cancellations, appointment bookings, EMI payments, insurance renewals and order changes. Voice AI agents answer phone, WhatsApp and web calls, with your choice of speech, voice and LLM providers.
Channels: WhatsApp (messaging and voice calling), RCS, SMS, Instagram, website and in-app chat, and voice over PSTN and SIP; email only through an API for sending campaigns.
Pricing: the self-serve WhatsApp API charges $0.001 per message plus Meta’s fee at actuals; the WhatsApp CX plan is $100 a month (₹5,000 in India), waived for 3 months as a limited-time offer, plus $0.008 per message. AI agents are quote only (Gupshup pricing). G2: 4.4 from 67 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: the AI agents have no published price, and every incoming and outgoing message carries Gupshup’s fee whoever sends it. Its security page states no certification in its text.
Pick it if: WhatsApp, RCS and SMS are your main channels and you want published messaging prices, with AI agents bought on top through sales.
6. Ada: best for self-managed CX
Best for: enterprise CX teams that want to manage the AI agent themselves, without engineering.
Ada runs one Reasoning Engine, launched on 18 February 2026, across chat, email, voice and social, with Playbooks, Processes and Coaching for the CX team. Ada Computer, launched on 24 September 2026, lets the agent act through API tools, sandboxed Python code tools and MCP tools. Ada holds SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, PCI DSS and AIUC-1.
What the AI does: answers from Knowledge in 60 languages for chat and email, and 42 for voice, and takes actions through Ada Computer tools, handing anything else to the team’s helpdesk or contact center.
Channels: web chat, in-app chat, voice, email and Instagram Direct natively; WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, X DMs and SMS through Zendesk Sunshine Conversations.
Pricing: per conversation for most customers, with a resolution-based model for some enterprises; quote only (Ada platform). G2: 4.6 from 174 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: under per-conversation pricing a handed-over conversation is still billed, and WhatsApp depends on Zendesk Sunshine Conversations rather than a direct connection.
Pick it if: your CX team wants to own the agent’s training and workflows, needs email and voice in one agent, and can buy through sales.
7. Cognigy: best for CCaaS contact centers
Best for: large enterprise contact centers, many on NiCE CXone or Genesys, that want AI agents in front of the contact center they already run.
Cognigy has been owned by NICE since 8 September 2025 and is sold on its own or inside NiCE CXone. Its AI agents get Jobs with Tools that call APIs, retrieve data, start workflows and hand over to people, and LLM-driven agents can be mixed with fixed flows in one conversation. Teams choose models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or AWS, or a privately hosted one.
What the AI does: answers and takes actions in other systems, among them authentication, payments, bookings and record updates, through 110+ prebuilt tools and integrations plus MCP. Knowledge AI is licensed separately.
Channels: web chat, voice over SIP through Cognigy Voice Gateway, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LINE, Microsoft Teams, Slack and Workplace from Meta; SMS through Twilio. Cognigy’s docs list no email channel.
Pricing: per billable conversation of up to 50 user inputs in 24 hours, with voice billed by concurrent lines; quote only (Cognigy billing docs). G2: 4.6 from 13 reviews (G2, October 2026), a sample too small to say much.
Where it falls short: an escalated conversation is still billed, Voice Gateway and Knowledge AI each need their own licence, and Cognigy’s own agent workspace, Live Agent, is in maintenance mode.
Pick it if: your contact center runs on NiCE CXone or Genesys and you want AI agents that mix generative answers with fixed, auditable flows.
8. Fin: best for per-outcome pricing
Best for: support teams that want a per-outcome AI agent they can start on a trial, on the Intercom helpdesk or on top of another one.
Fin, formerly Intercom Fin, answers from your knowledge sources and takes actions through Procedures, plain-language instructions that call any REST API or MCP connector. It runs on Intercom’s own helpdesk, or on top of Salesforce Service Cloud, HubSpot, Freshdesk and Freshchat, with other helpdesks through sales. Salesforce completed its acquisition of Fin on 10 September 2026.
What the AI does: answers in more than 45 languages and acts through Procedures and data connectors; nothing is billed when the customer asks for a person.
Channels: Messenger live chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Slack and Discord; Fin Voice is sold to select customers through sales, in 28 languages.
Pricing: $0.99 per outcome. On the Intercom helpdesk, seats start at $85 a month billed annually (Advanced); on another helpdesk there is a 50-outcome monthly minimum (Fin pricing). G2: 4.5 from 3,918 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: voice is not sold on published terms, and data is hosted in the US by default, with EU or Australian hosting only for new workspaces under a contract, so there is no India or Gulf region. The per-outcome bill rises in step with every resolution.
Pick it if: you want to start on a 14-day trial and pay a published price per outcome, with email, chat and WhatsApp in one agent.
9. Freshdesk: best for helpdesk and AI
Best for: small and mid-sized support teams that want a ticketing helpdesk and its own AI agent from one vendor, at published seat prices.
Freshdesk comes as two products: Freshdesk, the email-first helpdesk, and Freshdesk Omni, the multichannel one with live chat, WhatsApp and Instagram. Freddy AI Agent is built in AI Agent Studio and runs workflows with an Actions Library and API actions, including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal and Wix. Data is hosted in the US, the EEA, the UAE, India or Australia, chosen at sign-up.
What the AI does: answers from knowledge sources and runs workflows with API actions. The Chat AI Agent runs only on Freshdesk Omni; email-first Freshdesk gets the Email AI Agent only.
Channels: email, customer portal, web chat and Facebook, plus Instagram and WhatsApp on Freshdesk Omni; phone through Freshcaller, a separate Freshworks product.
Pricing: Freshdesk Growth costs $19 per agent a month billed annually and Freshdesk Omni Growth $29; Freddy AI Agent sessions cost $49 per pack of 100 (Freshdesk pricing). G2: 4.4 from 3,777 reviews (G2, October 2026).
Where it falls short: a session is billed whatever the outcome, including handovers, and voice needs Freshcaller on top. WhatsApp is not available on email-first Freshdesk for accounts created from December 2025.
Pick it if: you want to replace Verloop.io’s console with a full helpdesk, keep the AI agent from the same vendor, and host data in India or the UAE.

What to decide before switching
Actions versus answers
Count what share of your tickets need the agent to act in another system (issue a refund, run a KYC check, change an order, take a payment) rather than answer from help content. Every tool on this list takes actions; what differs is how much setup each action needs and whether your team or the vendor builds it.
Channels your customers use
List the channels your customers actually use today, including email and voice. Email narrows the field more than any other channel: Verloop.io, Haptik and Cognigy list no email support channel, and Gupshup sends email only for campaigns. Voice narrows it the other way: Fin sells voice through sales only, Freshdesk needs Freshcaller, and Robylon includes voice phone calls from its Business plan.
Where your team works
Decide whether your human team stays in its current helpdesk or contact center. A team in Freshdesk, Zendesk, Zoho Desk, Intercom or Salesforce can keep it with Robylon; a contact center on NiCE CXone or Genesys Cloud can keep it with Cognigy or Kore.ai. A team leaving Verloop.io’s Live Chat console can take Freshdesk, Yellow.ai’s Inbox or Haptik’s Smart Agent Chat.
Pricing at your volume
Verloop.io, Yellow.ai Enterprise, Haptik, Kore.ai, Ada and Cognigy are quote only, and Gupshup quotes its AI agents, so compare the published options at your own volume and treat the rest as quotes. On published prices for 3,000 chat and email conversations a month, 60% resolved by the AI (1,800 resolutions), 3 human agents and monthly billing:
| Tool | Option | AI cost a month | Seats a month | Total a month | AI cost per resolution |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Robylon | Business, 10,000 credits, Basic seats | $625.00 | $57.00 | $682.00 | $0.35 |
| Freshdesk | Freddy AI Agent on Freshdesk Omni Growth seats | $1,470.00 | $105.00 | $1,575.00 | $0.82 |
| Fin | Fin on another helpdesk | $1,782.00 | Not counted | $1,782.00 | $0.99 |
| Fin | Fin on Intercom, Advanced seats | $1,782.00 | $297.00 | $2,079.00 | $0.99 |
Robylon’s figure is 3,000 conversations at about 7.5 credits each: the Business 10,000-credit tier at $300 plus 13 extra 1,000-credit bundles at $25, and 3 Basic seats at $19. On yearly billing the totals are $652.00 for Robylon, $1,557.00 for Freshdesk and $2,037.00 for Fin on Intercom. Yellow.ai’s Free plan is left out because its docs do not define the resolution it bills above 500 sessions.
When to stay on Verloop
- Most of your volume is phone calls in Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali or Gujarati, or in Gulf and Egyptian Arabic, and Verloop.io’s voice agent handles them well today.
- You run outbound voice campaigns for collections, reminders or lead qualification from Excel uploads or API triggers.
- You need calls on Knowlarity, which Robylon’s voice docs do not list.
- Your customers never email you, so WhatsApp, chat and phone cover them.
- You collect payments inside the conversation through Razorpay, CCAvenue or Xendit.
- Your recipes and API blocks run in production, and rebuilding them elsewhere would cost more than the gain.
What usually drives a switch is email that Verloop.io does not handle, a price only sales can give, a human team in another helpdesk, or uncertainty after Nurix AI’s acquisition. If none applies, Verloop.io is a strong place to stay.
Moving off Verloop
- Baseline resolution rate, CSAT, call containment and cost per resolved conversation, by channel.
- Export the recipes, FAQs, AnswerFlow documents and crawled URLs behind each live Verloop.io agent.
- List every API block, the system it calls and the credentials it needs.
- Decide where your human team works after the move, and how phone transfers will reach them.
- Connect the systems the agent must act in, then build the top intents first and test them in bulk against real past conversations.
- Move one channel first, usually website chat or email, while Verloop.io keeps voice and WhatsApp.
- Port WhatsApp numbers and approved templates to the new provider, then move voice numbers to the new platform’s telephony.
- Keep Verloop.io running until the contract term ends, in case you need to roll back.
Choosing a Verloop alternative
Verloop.io is a strong choice for voice: it handles calls in 10+ Indian languages and several Arabic dialects, runs outbound campaigns and has been a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider since January 2022. For a team whose customers call or message on WhatsApp and never email, it remains a sound platform.
Move when the gaps start to cost you: email handled in a separate tool, no price before a sales call, a human team working outside Verloop.io’s console, or an open question about the new owner. Robylon suits teams that want the agent to take the action a ticket needs, run every channel from one setup, email included, and fit the stack they already run, and its Starter plan is free to try.

Frequently asked questions
What are the best Verloop alternatives?
Robylon is the strongest Verloop alternative for teams that want published prices and one AI agent across email, chat, voice and WhatsApp. Yellow.ai and Haptik suit enterprises that want another India-rooted platform, Kore.ai and Cognigy suit large contact centers, and Fin and Freshdesk suit teams that want a helpdesk too.
What is a cheaper alternative to Verloop?
Robylon is the cheapest option in this page's worked example, at $682.00 a month for 3,000 chat and email conversations, 60% resolved by AI, with 3 agents. Freshdesk comes to $1,575.00 and Fin on another helpdesk to $1,782.00 in the same scenario. Verloop.io publishes no price, so the saving cannot be stated exactly.
How much does Verloop cost?
Verloop.io publishes no prices as of October 2026: its pricing page returns "Page not found" and every deal is quoted after a demo. The only published billing mechanics are prepaid credits for WhatsApp outreach campaigns, charged per WhatsApp conversation at Meta's rates. A free, scoped proof of concept is offered before purchase.
Does Verloop have a free plan or free trial?
Verloop.io has no free plan and no published self-serve trial as of October 2026; it offers a free, scoped proof of concept through its demo form. Robylon has a free Starter plan with 300 credits a month, Yellow.ai a free plan with 500 chat sessions a month, and Fin and Freshdesk 14-day trials.
How does Verloop compare with Yellow.ai?
Yellow.ai covers more ground than Verloop.io: email, 35+ channels, a free plan with 500 chat sessions a month and SOC 2 Type II. Verloop.io centres on phone calls, naming 10+ Indian languages and four Arabic varieties for voice, with its own telephony and outbound campaigns. Both quote enterprise prices through sales.
How does Verloop compare with Haptik?
Haptik and Verloop.io both sell quote-only AI agents for WhatsApp, web and voice to brands in India and the Middle East, and neither lists email as a support channel. Haptik is part of Jio Platforms, names 500+ enterprises and sells its own Smart Agent Chat inbox; Verloop.io centres its product on voice AI calls.
Which Verloop alternative handles email support?
Robylon handles email from its Pro plan, with the same AI agent that answers chat, voice and WhatsApp. Yellow.ai, Ada, Fin and Freshdesk also resolve email, and Kore.ai lists email as a channel. Verloop.io, Haptik and Cognigy list no email support channel, and Gupshup sends email only for campaigns.
Which Verloop alternative covers WhatsApp and voice in Indian languages?
Robylon covers WhatsApp from its Pro plan and phone calls from Business, with Sarvam speech recognition for 11 Indian languages and Exotel or Twilio numbers. Haptik supports more than 100 languages across WhatsApp and voice. Verloop.io itself names Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Gulf Arabic dialects for voice.
